Public involvement and engagement

Involvement in research

We aim to ensure that there is public involvement at all stages of the research process from study design through to its execution and communication of findings. We will advertise specific involvement opportunities on this site when they arise.

A number of our studies are run through the MRC Epidemiology Unit. If you are interested in volunteering to take part in research, you can visit the volunteering page of the MRC Epidemiology Unit website

Engaging with our research

Through the MRC Epidemiology Unit, CEDAR members take part in the Cambridge Science Festival, MRC Festival of Medical Research and other public engagement events and activities. Find out more here.

Most of the information on this website is aimed at an academic audience, or is for those working in local and national government, the NHS, charities and the third sector. Nevertheless, our aim is that the information is accessible and informative for anyone who is interested in our work. If you have any comments or questions, please contact Oliver,
