Background and experience
After completing his postgraduate studies in Engineering and Management, Alvaro spent part of his professional career between Madrid and south of France, working in areas such as data models, Business Intelligence, and use of data in gaming engineering.
Current work and interests
Alvaro was the Data Manager for many of the studies run by CEDAR, like the Diabetes Research Communication Trial, the Baby Milk study, SPEEDY , Nutrition in Nurseries, SPACE and GoActive, being in charge of databases, Data Science and releases linked to these projects.
Alvaro also worked on Data Science, his main areas of interest at CEDAR were:
- Transport modelling and microsimulation.
- Probabilistic models.
- Data mining and Data Analytics.
